As a Digital Marketing apprentice, you will help define, design, and implement campaigns across a variety of digital platforms and get paid in the process. You will join two Sales/Marketing teams (changes at 9 months) and be assigned a manager for each. You will start in October 2021 with a bootcamp delivered by our training partner, followed by direct experience at Google. While at Google, your time will be split between external training and practical work experience, and you will have the opportunity to learn and develop your skills while working alongside a team of digital marketers at Google to solve real life problems.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and evaluate organisations’ digital strategies and actions for some of the world’s biggest brands.
- Support execution of go-to-market strategies and coordination for new product launches and programs (e.g., positioning, naming, external communications, competitive analysis, and feature prioritization).
- Support insight gathering to better serve our users (e.g., via focus groups, working with a research agency to develop and test hypotheses, etc.)
- Manage social media campaigns and develop ideas to better engage our users.
- Undertake training and follow mentoring as specified.
Minimum qualifications
- Work experience, high school degree, or GED equivalent.
- Less than 1 year of relevant digital marketing experience.
- Not currently enrolled in or completed a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree program in a digital marketing related field.

- Ability to work independently and within a team framework
- Willingness to navigate ambiguous tasks, find suitable solutions and seek help/advice where appropriate
- Enthusiasm and passion for new technologies, demonstrated through personal projects and commitment to learning new skills
- Effective communication and organizational skills, proactive, self-motivated, positive attitude, and excellent customer service capabilities.
- Excellent problem solving capabilities.
